Chair Caning 2 Day Course

Please bring with you a small chair or stool that needs a new caned back or seat. You can strip it back before the class, but please take a photo of the old cane pattern and bring a sample of what you cut away so we can replace it with the same size cane. Don’t worry if it’s already been stripped. If a chair needs work on the frame (eg gluing, stripping wood or polishing), this would need to be done before the class.  Students may want advice on removing the cane from the holes to save time in class.
